Tentative Board Goals for 2008 under development:
REGIONAL RATINGS: Rate Federal Agencies’ cooperation with the National Ombudsman’s office by each Region as well as the Nationwide Agency Ratings thereby narrowing the focus and priority of bringing under performing regions of agencies into compliance with the objectives of SBREFA where needed.
REGIONAL HEARINGS: Once per year hold Hearingsin each region to review and address Agencies’ performance regarding excessive enforcement and compliance with SBREFA
EFFICIENT REVIEWS: Pilot program utilizing Agencies’ web portals to contact business operators recently cited in order to appraise Agencies’ fair enforcement of regulations and compliance with SBREFA mitigation notice.
MARKETING: Region-by-region and nationwide marketing campaigns promoting the Regulatory Fairness Boards and the Office of the National Ombudsman.
CONTRIBUTIONS: Seek donations of professional services to augment and enhance the capability of the Boards.
QUESTIONAIRRE: Compose a survey for circulation into the the small business community for the assessment of Federal Agency actions, styles of enforcement, professional manners and etc.
